NYC Launch Party 17th October So, this NYC then… It’s a brand new format at the Empire each and every Friday, and is going to be based around residents and a regular team of guests – the benefit being that you can show up any week, and have a good idea of what kind of music will be in store. The basic sketch is funky, soulful house in the main room, RnB on the all-new handsome-as-hell first floor, and a bit of disco Boogalooo on the side from the start of December. The launch party this week stars Jim ‘Shaft’ Ryan from Miss Moneypennys, and Bertie B from 1Xtra and it’s FREE BEFORE MIDNIGHT!
