    NUSSO Christmas Concert

    Something a little different...

This Sunday, Newcastle University Students' Symphony Orchestra will be holding a christmas concert, in St Thomas' Church (at Haymakret).

There will also be a barbershop choir, mulled wine, mince pies, and various bits of festive and not-so-festive music.

Tickets are £3 on the door, starts at 5.30, and all proceeds are going to a charity called All India, working with abandoned children and those with special educational needs (In India).

If anyone fancies coming down, it should be a fun and relaxing evening; those of you with young children and shallow pockets should note that children are free ;)

I cant think of anything more cringeworthy than 4 middleclass toffs named Giles dressed in red and white stripey shirts singing god awful songs

 Aye the barbershop choir isn't the most appealing aspect of the night.
