There are some reviews of it here

Looks good, but the old adage about "you get what you pay for" is always true... I've had numark gear in the past and while it is fairly well put together it tends to lack features, and their faders aren't up to much, I'm always having to clean them to stop them crackling.

You may be better off getting something like a Vestax PCV-275 and getting an external fx controller (like the pioneer EFX500) and hooking the pair of them up.

i duno how often this applies but ive always been told that if a mixer needs onboard fx to sell it, its not worth having, and got advised to buy a mixer to be a mixer, and let a seperate effects unit deal with that sort of stuff...

Not just that but seperating your effects and your mixer means that you don't need to upgrade your mixer if you want a new effects suite ;)

defo - seperate mixer and effects unit - makes more sense - upgrade what u want, when u want - ALSO u can spend more on what u need - better mixer, entry level effects unit, etc...

    first bit of advice

    avoid Gemini or Numark mixers

you onyl really want to be looking at getting Vestax ,Pioneer , A&H, hi-end Stanton, Rane, Ecler or Denon mixers

As for EFX, what are your reasons for wanting an efx? I used to think my efx500 was the best thing ever but you have to either be absolutely awesome on the unit or use it very sparingly or it gets really annoying. I think I may be ready to sell mine.

Plus the actualy necessity for an FX is very dependent on the music you play. The delay and echo loops are wicked for hi intensity music like breaks and techno

A cheap mixer will eventually be the cause of a ton of frustration as the sound quality your outputting ends up sounding cheap and nasty.

Also, the older they get, the more you can hear the other channels playing through your main outputs even though you might have the channel faders (or cross faders if you use those) all the way down!

Lastly, you start noticing that the equalisers arent doing the job you want them to do with separating ranges when your mixing .... and you wonder if good mixers do a better, and cleaner sounding job....

Oh, and you get quite possibly one of the worst things ever ........ CRACKLING!!!!!!

    ... Yeah - ive got a crappy Gemini :(

(Having said that, cheap mixers do the job in the short term ... nowt wrong with that)
