nucastle.co.uk photography comp. this was suggested in another photography comp so we might as well have a crack at it since there is a good few budding photographers on here now. so heres how it goes; simple really, as chris said, pick a topic, take a pic, submit, vote, winner picks next topic ill start; the subject is any clubbing venue in town from the outside. you have a week and we'll post em up next (and every) sunday MOS could you please sticky this ? adam
Cool! Although it's a bit of a fuck on for me to go through Newcastle to take a few photo's. I'll give this one a miss unless I can be arsed to gan through to the town centre.
would it not be better to list a few different topics then vote as to which to do each week? then it isn't focused on a certain place so you could take the pictures closer to home? not that I would be entering but I would happily vote
aye i know i was thinking that, maybe for the people well outside of newcastle you could just do the equivalent in sunderland or durham or wherever
i had a mint idea for a pic but i dont wanna stand outside a club with a 400 quid camera, ill give this a miss
good idea My thoughts on "rules" Pictures must be posted by the entrant Picture must have been taken by the entrant, when it was actually taken doesn`t really matter. Pictures must be no greater than 800 pixels in width. One entry only. Picture must be at least based around the subject Winner picks next competition subject Weekly might be a bit too fast to get entries in and actually vote. Perhaps every 2 weeks or monthly is better? what about photoshop? Perhaps giving a someone mod rights for the photos forum only would save MoS having to sticky/unsticky stuff, etc.
Good idea chris and adam! Photoshop has to be used to on digital photography. 1 week isnt long enough, I agree chris. 2 weeks is a bit better.
all great ideas, fortnightly especially. i really need a tripod tbh, went to asda for one but they dont sell the tenner ones anymore
I havnt really used mine yet. I feel like a right prat setting up a tripod when strangers are around.
