    you'll start to see a lot more when you google for nucastle, as I've just claimed a £70 google ads voucher for some free advertising.

    Hopefully might bring a few more people on here...

    Surely if people don't already know about this site they'd have to be illiterate, dyslexic, or stupid to be searching for 'NUcastle'?

    It hasn't gone live yet, it will take a few days for google to update it all.

    carter - it works using targeted keywords like "newcastle clubbing" etc.

    Typing in nucastle should bring it up too. I've set it up to show daily ads on youtube, DSI, thechronicle.co.uk and a few other sites. I'm hoping it'll get us some more exposure.

    And if it doesn't work, I haven't lost anything, the advertising was free after all :wink:

    Sites like that indicate how much you'd make if you paper the place in ads.

    To be honest I don't want to make it any more intrusive, two ads (one top, one bottom) on a page is enough for me. Any more than that would probably discourage people from posting on here.
