Norton Help Ive loaded the 2006 norton anti virus software onto the PC at work, but its kicked the link for the broadband off the other machines, Ive tried unistalling it but its not making any difference Any advice I thought it could be because one computer is XP the other 98 and maybe its blocked it or something
do your PC act as a server for the other machines to access the internet? it'll be a fuck on getting it to work nicely. take norton off, choose 1) a different virus program 2) a sensible it infrastructure. who set up the network in the first place? this'll be a very difficult thing to fix via a messageboard... do u have an IT person?
TBH I really can't stand the latest releases of Norton.. they are system heavy and bugged to hell. Have look on Ebay for AV and Firewall 2002.. u can pick em up for around £14 for both.. and they're far more usable and reliable!
