Norton Antivirus Mike (dodgy) i know ull slate me for this but its been installed with the firewall for norton when am at work on me new PC so feck ya, ill grass on you for fucking off from work when there's fuck all wrong with ya today Anyways why when the anti virus is on me PC does me E drive no longer work, is there ways u can turn it on and off ?!?! Re: Norton Antivirus :spangled: Eh? Are you trying to access a cd/dvd or summinck that's in the drive and it won't let you? If so, have you tried a different cd/dvd? Or can you not see the drive in My Computer? You can disable Norton Autoprotect or whatever it's called by right-clicking on the system tray icon, but it still leaves loads of agents running... Why oh why oh why did you install Norton?

Re: Re: Re: Norton Antivirus You tried another cd? That message can come up when a cd is dirty/scratched/fucked. Is the cd spinning when you're trying to access the drive? Or does it sound like it's attempting to spin up (the green light on the front of the cd drive will flash)? Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with Norton though, you should leave that steaming poo of a program on for the moment. If you do uninstall it, either use Tiny or Sygate firewall (Google them), sygate's my fave
