North East XI Picking players from the North East big but shit 3 which players on form & not reputation would make a decent mid table Premier League team.
Had to go 4-3-3, couldn't think of 4 midfielders that I would select at the minute, would throw Andy Carroll in & give him a chance. Cant personally see why David Wheater has been selected by a couple of people. Hes got a couple of goals recently though as a defender he lacks mobility & pace, Jones will run him ragged when we play boro at the SOL.
i have put him in mine cos the questions was to pick a NE 11 from current form. not just the best players, and on current form like you say he has got a couple of goals recently and also boro have conceeded fewer goals recently than the other 2 (from the last 6 games)
ive watched boro all season mate and he's been immense he's got the highest average rating for any defender in the premiership this season as well on skysports.com......
cattermole has barely played this season as well? arca hasnt played left back since his debut game as well, when bruce lee had his eyes out wen reading beat us 3-2 on the opening day!
Fair enough mate, ive only seen him on tele etc so i could be wrong. Still reckon Jones will have him at our place though
