just realized today is one year smoke free for me, no mishaps, no being overly tempted, just stopped smoking after 15+ years of 20 a day

anyone else glad they quit? or looking forward to stopping for that matter?

I stopped around January after having really bad case of broncittus but then around April I smoked when I was on drink then just started gradually smoking every day again

Gutted as I never had any patches or anything, I was scared to smoke after the way I was when I was bad, thought I was gunna die haha

i thought it was going to be difficult while drinking, but its been ok

i still end up going to the smoking area's if i'm out, but i feel like the weird non-smoker now

I've just brought loads back from Malaysia if you want some cheap Jase.

I havent had one for 9 days - I know that isn't long but it's a start. It hasn't been so bad, not many horrendous cravings, just a bit of a sore throat!

ill be bringing shitloads of lamberts and marlboro ultras back from doob eye too.

I stopped on July 1st last year and havent had one since, i had a draw at a BBQ a while back and it nearly killed me - fuck knows what ever possesed me to smoke anyways.

I didnt smoke alot and was only really a social smoker really.

I want to stop.

i smoke like a cunt when im not even halfway through my first pint, couldnt smoke sober like, no way.

thats how it starts then youl but a pack for going out, cheeky one the next day then your hooked!!

i smoke about 15-20 per day and ive got no intention of quitting at the mo.

i did the opposite, smoked like a bastard throughout years 10/11, through college then it kind of just trailed off. only smoke when im out now tho.

Just jacked in meself. Not that I wanted to mind, just I've got an operation soon and was advised to as a) me blood pressure's high and b) cos of the anaesthetic while I'm under, supposed to play havoc with your chest when you come back round.

Gonna see how it goes after me op!!
