No car lanes Do drivers actually take notice of these? Coming to work this morning some woman driver overtook 1 car then headed straight into the car lane without noticing the bus had just started moving - which consequently ended up with her being wedged between a car and a bus sideways
I don't use them and if people try and push into that que i've been in for 10mins after using one i refuse point blank to let them when they start indicating... its great fun when they start edging in, i just start edging further forward so they cant get in pricks.
i dont this this lady will be edging into any future cars!! why people cant queue up normally is besides the point Thank god she got a piece of my mind - i think the term tosser summed her up quite well
MINT! thats what i make amy do when im in he car with her and when she is going up a slipway and trying 2 get on the moterway and is indicating and a car is not moving lane 2 let her in i just steer for her and make teh other car swerve or break hard
No car lanes are completely pointless! Take the one outside the civic. It's creating a 350metre bus lane which will cause six months of traffic jams, making almost no difference and cost £1.5 million to the local tax payer. hmmm......
they are there to encourage people to ride on the bus because its quicker through town, by pissing off people in cars who now have to wait twice as long while driving.
Not true. I stopped getting the bus. When bus lanes end they just join the queue of cars. Buses and trains never run on time. I'd use them if they were reliable.
totally agree with you, when it hits rush hour (morning or night) you cant rely on busses getting there on time. im sick of them
its a nightmare getting to work used to take me 10 minutes maximum but Now its over half an hour to commute to work from home
it's life - EVERYONE with an ounce of sense knows public transport is never on time and you shouldn't reply on it - stop blaming OTHER things for your laziness and just work in extra time - GET UP EARLIER!
I have sussed the quickest possible route from Whitley Bay to Team Valley but sometimes you get raped by every set of traffic lights on your way aswell as various other obstacles/queues. Its unpredictable I leave 1hr before i am due to start, sometimes i'm there in 30 mins, other times i can be ten mins late
i used to work on the valley, from byker bridge > warners > tyne bridge > durham road is always the shit bit... do u go down bensham bank or cut down the side of the crematorium?
The quickest way from byker to team valley is by one of those amphibious cars that were on top gear a few weeks ago!
