Nike Plus Trainers I have had a pair of nike + trainers for a while, but never used the + malarky. Just bought the ipod attachment, plugged it in.. and it seems like a mint gadget for motivation. Okay so maybe i just walked about the house with a woman yapping in my ear. And maybe im gonna get a belly full of tea in a minute... but i might actually go for a Real, genuine, 100% energy draining.... RUN Chances are it will end up in a drawer in about 1 weeks time but its mint other than that! Makes graphs of distances, times.. and sets challenges. good stuff
i'd love a shot of them like, but i heard it cos quite a bit of dolla, apparently all the info that it picks up about your movement is immense.
I've got ascis gel kayanos, they dont draw you graphs or out like that but there still quality! as like a bash of them nike + things like just to see if they are any good!
Basically lads it only costs 20 quid for the actual transmitter and part that sits in your shoe. Its possible to get a pouch and put it on laces of any other kind of trainer, instead of the proper section in sole of nike + my trainers werent that pricey either. Its mint though. The voice comes over your tunes at certain checkpoints. you can set your own challenges. just select 2, 5, 10, half marathon, full marathon etc. and other running stuff. Makes the whole thing seem a lot less boring to me
Ive bought 2 pairs of bluetooth headphones now for running and both have fucked coz the buttons stick. Them nike plus look good like but i'll wait for ya verdict!
I've been using one of these for a while, brilliant training aid for feedback on pace & distance. Power song feature is handy for the longer runs as well! I haven't bothered with the Nike+ trainers though, just bought a little pouch thing from Amazon that attaches the sensor to your laces. All your data gets sent to the nike+ website via iTunes so you can track your progress.
