he's still a class player. Can't believe people are writing him off after 2 games of the World Cup. He hasn't exactly had the best preperation coming in to it, the sooner he leaves Real Madrid the better imo.
There was once a rumour actually not so long ago that nike was a poison chalice for sportsman ! the likes of Sergei bupka and andre agassi burst onto the scenes in there sport and were quickly signed up by nike only to then feature heavily in advertisements / endorsements and then crash out in the frist rounds of the olympics or wimbledon ! (remeber agassi disapperaing for a while )
Robinho has played better and done a LOT more running in his half an hour on the pitch than Ronaldo has done in 2 hours.
I'm not doubting the fact that Ronaldo has a poor world cup so far, just saying that I still consider him a world class player. I think his current problems are down to him not being happy at Madrid, and them not being happy with him. Also, the fact that Robinho is trying harder doesn't necessarily make him better.
but he has played better when he's came on for ronaldo, you have to remember its the world cup and players don't have a season to pull their fingers out, ronaldos a lazy fat fuck who hasn't ran 5 yards in two games, get him dropped and maybe then he'll get a fright and try prove himself.
He shouldn't be in the starting line up because he is Ronaldo, he should be in the starting line up because he's playing better than everyone else in the squad.
