Scored tonight for West Ham against his old team Wimbledon and refused to celebrate.

I love it when players do this.... shows their love for their old club.

Best iv seen is when Roberto Baggio REFUSED point blank to take a penalty against Fiorentina for Juve... He walked off the pitch I think. Classic

When Man City beat Liverpool in the last minute last season, Robbie Fowler refused to celebrate, hung his head, and then at the final whistle, went over to The Kop, got on his knees, and worshipped the fans. Legend! Brung a tear to my eye.

I never heard about this - quality!!

Fowler is a legend for snorting the lines of the pitch and showing his bum hole to Graham Le Sucks

Dennis Law is the most famous surely relegating Man Utd whilst playing for City.

    Nobby Says

When I left for Villa I knew the Newcastle fans would understand my situation. But I was still surprised with their reaction, I received so many emails to the website and letters to the club, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support - it was fantastic and is appreciated very much.

Looking to Sunday's game, I am a professional footballer and if selected then of course I will do everything to win the game for Villa. I want to do well, and some people may say I have a point to make. All I can say is that if I will do everything on the pitch to help Villa win the game, but if I score then I will have done the job I am paid for.

I will not celebrate as I want nothing to come between me and the Newcastle people.

The fans gave so much me to me and other than playing to the best of my ability, I will not do anything to hurt or insult them. I know that Lomana (Lua Lua) reacted to scoring against Newcastle, but I also know this was not aimed at the fans. He too got on well with the people and was upset that many took his reaction as an insult against them.

Didn't he wear a "Sad Mackem Bastards" shirt at Newcastles (miserably failed) FA Cup final when he was playing for Sunderland. Legend.

You cant embarrass them. They harp on about us losing the league, yet none of them seemed that bothered that Sunderland became the worst team the Prem has ever known last year.
