Did anyone go on saturday? what was the club like? was boy george any gud?

Yes I went. The club looks like a modern type bar with a dancefloor. Boy George was okay for the first few tunes then he went boring so I left.
But the crowd was full of all the old faces from rockshots. The atmosphere was good & the place was full of smiles.

Would I go again: YES!!!

The crowd, venue, and sound system are all good.

Boy George was ok but played a but proggy. He did start playing some breaks towards the end of the set, which was good. He came off just at the right time and Iain Shepherd finished off the night "Nicely" (Sorry that is a really bad pun)..

Just normal clubbing clobber, and door whore's seem to be doing a good job cause not a lot of Charv's in.

There was no door whores!! I did say to Aarron that it will be the 1st time I have been in a club that someone will be more camper THAN HIM!!

NICE (DONT THINK SO)

Went to Nice on Saturday, got in, but had trouble doing so.

Got to the club about 11:30pm , no queue only doorpicker/guest list girl (Lucy?) on the door .
As I was walking past her I said 'Hi' she then told me it was members ONLY!
I was like 'Eh, you know I am member ', I didn't have my membership card on me as when I left home I was going to Promise on Friday, I didn't think I would be going to Nice on Saturday. Knowing you never win these battles I just said ' THAT IS FUCKING SHIT ' & walked away.
Then Mark (NICE PROMOTER) came to the door, so I walked back ready to give him a talking to, before I could say anything he said 'Get yourself in!'. Once inside the music was nothing special and the crowd was small.

I only stopped for 1 drink (bottle of wine) then left. I only went because it is 1 of the few clubs that lets people in with trainers on.
If she had said 'you have had to much to drink, you cant come in' I wouldn't have minded as I had been drinking since 8pm Friday & it was 11:30pm Saturday. But are you member!!!!! THE FUCKING CHEEK OF IT!!!!!!!! I have supported Nice for a long time & had some great nights there but I wont be going to any Nice events while she is picking the crowd. I am looking forward to seeing Skev,Hans or Shep as I will be giving them a verbal onslaught.

As I said to people who used to post about getting the knock back from Promise 'I wouldn't want to go in a club where people like me are not allowed in' time to put them words into action.

Your right they shouldnt. They still think they are at Rockshots. People expect more from a club nowadays. As cardboard/homemade decor,unherd of guest DJs and poor mixing dont pull a crowd like they used.
