    Nice Sunday Dinners

    Where does nice Sunday Dinners? We wana go somewhere delicious for it this week :D Stephen says it has to have BIG portions :lol: Any recommendations? :)

    Shiremoor, Middle Engine Lane, not far from the Silverlink is the best I have had.

    Massive yorkshire puddings.

    I had heard a few good comments about the office in shields...

    But my m8 went and said it wasn't the best he's had.

    I need to know this too... promised to take the gf out for one about 18 weeks ago.. :S

    Yeah, it's a refurbished old Farm House that's now a huge pub.

    The food is great, really busy though.

    It's just off the Coast road, take the Tesco turn off after the Silverlink and turn left heading away from Tesco. You can't miss it, just at the traffic lights by the factories.

    or theres a new place called the falcons nest its rite next to the western bypass,,the gosforth turn off spot on :up:

    The Forth on Pink Lane does the nicest sunday roast ever rachel..

    Not only the best boozer in the Toon (not hard), but also the nicest food...

    I've heard Jess enjoys a good roast too..

    Yeah they have a function room where people go upstairs to eat, its round the corner from the kids play area/bowls area*

    they do lush sunday dinners :love:

    its only a fiver and u get soup to start then a carvery so u can wotever u want and as much as u want :D

    thats if u r in a fit state on sunday to go ;) :laugh:
    lots ofwine sat nite miss cook :D :p

    Spot on food and its a carvery so as above you can eat till you burst :D

    Plus i'm mates with all the managment/staff so will sort you's it 1/2 price if you decide to try it :)

    And the food is just like your mams home cooking ;)
