    Next US president

Who do people want to be elected on the fairly limited basis of what we've seen so far?

Obama seems to have his head screwed on but seems pretty rhetorical so far. Not really heard anything from Clinton but everyone seems to love her.

Even if the republicans have to win, McCain seemed like a breath of fresh air after Bush, talking at the Tory conference.

Hopefully someone with a bit of carbon sense anyway....I'm not sure there are any good answers to Iraq at the moment.

  they'll never elect a black (possible) muslim.

This is even weaker than the last US election.

Obama knows the opinion polls.....he's declared himself Christian like all the rest do to make themselves electable

That fox news story about him having been to Islamic school was bollocks, but has the damage been done? Not that it should be a problem if he had, but hey, this is America.

I think they'll probably run with Hilary Clinton.

Hillary looks a hard arse - get her in!

I don't like Clinton. Get the impression she's too much of a goodwill ambassador and not enough of a politician. Too nicey nicey, wants to be everyone's friend.

    Hilary for me.

She might be less corruptable than the blokes before her.

Polls so far inform that a third of Americans resolutely do not want Clinton as President which is understandable judging by the abhorrent slackjaw she's married to..

Obama, on merit of being a black American has about as much chance of getting elected as there is Osama Bin Laden repenting and becoming a Jew..

    Re: Next US president

Apparently he wants to delegalise abortion.

Sounds like it's going to be a heated election.
