    Nerdie Stuff

    Thanks for the comment.
I am using :D canon eos 300d with a professional lexar 80x 512mb compact flash card. sigma-500dg st flash with diffuser and a lot of batteries.

This lot only takes the pictures. Its the punters that provide the image.;)

    Thought it was a 300D like :p

Thats the camera I want, it's cracking.

Hardly suprising it needs alot of batteries :p

I notice theres not much glare from the smoke....is that because you can set the flash to a higher angle instead of straight on? Or is it something else?

    lush camera :D

saving for one...should have it by the time im 40!

    Pick your time

Its a bit trial and error to start with but I try not to shoot when there is to much smoke. it only bounces light back. The flash gun can tilt in two different directions at once so you can bounce light off walls and ceilings. helps not get to much direct and starc light.

Also I have had a great opportunity to work at many promise events and have shot one hell of a lot of images. so you get used to knowing how to set up the exposures and frames. Still the loss rate is fairly high, usually because the area/subject is so dark and it screws up the meter systems.

Enough of this tech talk. thanks again :spangled:

Dont think he's a board member but I helped him fasten one of his neon ties back into his cyber pants early on in the night. I could have sat and had a cup of tea on his gurn or gone surfing. He was sound :groovy:
