*News Flash* Well i dunno about the flash but its definitly news, and i know the peeps who went to the kremlin last year will want to read this. (taken from www.undergroundvibez.com) The long anticipated return of KREMLIN - voted best Dutch club night in 2002 at the Lucky Strike Dance Awards and nominated best International club night in 2001 by Ministry of Sound - is finally there. On the 29th and 30th of April, KREMLIN traditionally hosts its landmark event called 2 DAYS OF KAOS, which basically means two days of total clubbing madness with the biggest line-ups and the best entertainment-value money can buy. In 2003, KREMLIN has chosen to continue this tradition and, at the same time, to return to the forefront of the global dance scene. DAY ONE | On the 29th of April, KREMLIN exclusively presents the world’s number one DJ Tiësto [Black Hole Recordings]. On this occasion, Tiësto will rock the KREMLIN like never before. He will be backed up by a monster line-up that includes Sister Bliss, one of the driving forces behind the band Faithless responsible for seminal tracks like “We Come 1”, “Insomnia” and “God is a DJ”. Sister Bliss will play in the “Decked Out!” room alongside Portugal’s most precious export, Rui da Silva [Kismet Records]. KREMLIN is honoured to provide Rui da Silva with a stage for his debut DJ performance in Holland. Ever since 2000/2001, when Rui da Silva unleashed the huge number one hit single “Touch Me” [sold over 400.000 copies] onto the dance scene, his name has shot to stellar proportions as one of the world’s best progressive DJ’s and producers. He’s back around with a hot new record called “Feel the Love”, which has the same potential as “Touch Me”. After having grazed the decks at top clubs such as Pacha, Amnesia and Space in Ibiza, it’s now time for his debut at Amsterdam’s one and only superclub, KREMLIN. Other hot talent on this night is James Holden [Border Community Records], who’s often referred to as “the man of the moment” and who’s currently topping the charts worldwide with his smash hit “Nothing”. Added to this already tremendous line-up is Holland’s fastest rising superstar DJ Don Diablo, who’s the only Dutchman to have played Ministry of Sound’s New Year’s Eve party 2002 at the Millennium Dome - also referred to as “the greatest show on Earth”. Conquering the world in fast forward mode, Don has been flying around the globe this year performing for the worlds best clubs & raves, such as: The Liquid Room (Tokyo), Godskitchen (Birmingham), Gatecrasher (Sheffield), Turnmills (London), Creamfields 2002 and Dance Valley 2002, to name but a few. Dutch-talent Matthew DeKay, whose productions are getting massive support from Danny Howells, Anthony Pappa, Sander Kleinenberg and Lucien Foort, will play two sets on the first day of kaos. Over the last couple of months, Matthew DeKay has been hyped more than any other artist walking this planet. This youngsters in destined to take the international dance scene by storm. Meanwhile, the lounge area will be the domain of some of the hottest house jocks around Amsterdam, featuring Fedde Le Grand [Club iT], DJ Annemiek [The Backdoor] and Bram van der Loo [EVE], who will provide you with the sexiest, grooviest vibes. The first day will be backed up by lots of live entertainment, a massive lightshow by LJ Ron D Lite and superb visual productions by the award-winning VJ team Vision Impossible. Hosts of this night will be two of the best voices in dance, namely MC Marxman and MC Stretch. DAY TWO | On the 30th of April, KREMLIN exclusively presents two of the world’s finest underground techno names, namely “Italian Techno Maestro” and superstar DJ Mauro Picotto [meganite.co.uk] as well as Detroit house-legend Kevin Saunderson [KMS Records]. This night will be part of Mauro Picotto’s Meganite tour. Meganite is a new concept in electronic dance music build around Mauro Picotto, bringing the clubbers the most upfront, quality packed line-ups. Meganite will only visit the very best clubs in the world, including Space (Miami), Ministry of Sound (London), Arc (NYC), Womb (Tokyo) and of course KREMLIN (Amsterdam). On this night, Mauro Picotto will play an exclusive three hours set. Mauro Picotto is what you call a contemporary music icon. His productions have stormed the national charts in Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, France and the UK. Although Mauro has rocked many of Holland’s greatest events and festival, Mauro has never played a club in Amsterdam before and therefore, he’s really looking forward to his debut performance at KREMLIN. Detroit techno-wizard, Kevin Saunderson, will play alongside Mauro Picotto on this night. Kevin Saunderson's biggest achievement to date and his most commercially recognized project, Inner City, is often referred to as one of the World's most important dance-acts ever. It was under the Inner City moniker that Kevin Saunderson produced classics like “Big Fun” and “Good Life” as well as ten other Top 40 hit singles. Furthermore, Kevin Saunderson's alter ego E-DANCER produces techno music and it’s this side of Kevin that will rock Amsterdam’s hottest crowd on the 30th of April. Warming up for Kevin Saunderson will be the extremely talented Edwin Bazen [MAW], who’s a resident at the highly popular MAW techno parties in Rotterdam, where he has shared the decks with heroes like Dave Clarke, Green Velvet, Ben Sims, Billy Nasty, Chris Liebing, Gayle San, Gaetano Parisio, and many more. He also regularly plays at Rotterdam’s hottest club, Las Palmas. In addition to all this great talent, DJ Astrid [KREMLIN] will be the closing act of 2 DAYS OF KAOS. DJ Astrid has always been intrigued by elements of different styles and that's probably what makes her such a versatile DJ/producer nowadays. Having shared the decks with Sven Väth and Jeff Mills in the past as well as with many of today’s progressive/trance superstar DJ’s, this energetic lady will definitely stand out on her own among her male equivalents in area one. Meanwhile, area two will be the domain of Lucien Foort [Slice], who will perform solo for six hours non-stop. Live percussion and lots of entertainment will support him during this marathon set. On the second day of kaos, the lounge area will see the likes of Victor Coral [Rush], Dwin [Las Palmas] and Bram van der Loo [EVE]. MC Marxman and MC Stretch will once again be the hosts on this night; Vision Impossible will provide you with the most outstanding visuals; and LJ Ron D Lite will create the atmosphere with a wonderful lightshow. In other words, the second day of kaos promises to be yet another all night dance extravaganza. Presale for 2 DAYS OF KAOS started on the 1st of March. A huge run on tickets for KREMLIN’s comeback event is expected, so we advise you to buy your tickets way in advance. Tickets will be available through more than 1000 Ticketbox outlets [www.ticketbox.nl] nationwide, including all Free Record Shops. Anyone thinking about going?
