Just been nosin about on DSI looking at all the old groups, found a few slating newcastles music/trance scene when there was pretty much nothing on at one point a while back, thank god it's picked it's self back up like. I think were doing pretty well.

Alot of good things going on lately, Neuro, Vice, Godskitchen returning to Digital with a crakin lineup, Jaunt & more. Seems to be doing really well. Hopefully see more of Evolve again some time.

newcastle has always had a great music scene, at least in the 9/10 years or so i've been djing/going out here.

Yeh i agree m8 there was still things going on, but the trance side of things did quiet down a little after Junior:G finnished but soon picked it's self back up, was alot of hearsay going on in some of the DSI groups.

Hope godskitchen lasts this time, something else for us to attend on a regular basis

the 7 years is probably a bit more accurate in terms of going out tbh.

and trance nights always attract charvers, that's because they're really the only people who like trance!

I went to that new cocktail bar tonight.. loads of fit birds but everyone comes across as a pretentious cunt; there to make a statement as opposed to enjoy themselves. They also have a bottle of champagne for £1200.

pfft! a know who i'd be sharin that with if i was rich enough to buy it! haha

what is it? most of the bars in town double-charge on champagne, and the kind of pricks who drink it don't have a clue what it is anyway.

i've got to wait till the end of the month for something for my taste to come around, i want some big room, big name trance on - only lashes at digital i'll go to lots of different styles of music nights cause i like the vibe, the crowd and the music - but sometimes u want to go and enjoy the music i love and let go abit and for me there's nowt much up here at the moment

you've been registered on here since 2002, when it was promisealways.com - therefore you must have been a trance/hh fan at some point to be registered back then ? did you used to be a part of twisted logic, which, if i remember correctly, was a trance night ?

I could do with Above & Beyond making another club appearance before the summer.
