I found this quite amusing what a bloke said at work the other day :

"The only thing that keeps his faith in NUFC staying in the Premiership is the shit teams that come up"

Couldnt be further from the truth really, at the moment its still worrying times - Chopra's now fucked for a canny while, Poppins is likely to be fit (minus how much pace) and "Am a nobody" is suspended leaving bling to partner AL.

To win matches you have to score goals, simple as really - could that scottish arrogant bastard of left it any later to sign someone or are they just gonna be so fucking tight and not buy owt ??

It's players like Coco who's fucked off we used to be able to attract with no problems at all - now tho who knows..

This seasons gonna be an interesting one, for what we have sold and replaced its a joke

I will stand by what my work colleague said tho as even with the bare bones / shite we have REGARDLESS it's better than anything thats come up or what was grafting relegation last year - only fucking just tho...

If we don't buy at least 1 striker I can't see us doing anything at all. Our transfer dealings have been a joke tbh. They said in January that they were sorting out who they were going to buy this summer, but still they haven't signed a striker. To be totally honest we haven't got 1 good enough striker at the club. Shearer is too old, he's not going to score many at all, Shola is not good enough, Chopra, see Shola. I was well excited about the season when Morte + Anelka were going to be signed, but atm I don't really want it to start, especially not with Arsenal away:(

Not sure about that statement. I would wait until the season is under way to be sure though. Gray looks like a decent hardworking player, and Elliott looks exciting. Unsure if they are Prem quality though.

I couldn't give a flying fuck at the minute. You should only but if you know for a fact he will be replaced. He has not been, and he would be the first name on the team sheet at SJP
