Newcastle, The Elephants graveyard for footballers

Over the years constant under achievers Newcastle UTD have wasted the careers of many a good footballer, sometimes the lucky ones get the hell out in time to play for a real club and make something of themselves

Here is a list of the top of my head of some great players that NUFC where unable to muster a winning team from. To not win anything with this lot must be well fucking hard but well possible with the comedy club of England

    Add any I have missed.

Shay "there are smug mackems all over the world tonight " Given
    Boumsong
    Jonathon Woodgate
    Fab Coloccini
    Albert
    Dieter Hamman
    Ronny Johnson
    Nicky Butt
    Jon Dahl Tommason
    David Ginola
    Kieron Dyer
    Jermian Jenas
    Mark Viduka
    Belamy
    Kluivert
    Alan Shearer
    Asprilla
    Andrew Cole

Won nothing yes, but cant ever deny they weren't unreal for us.

Id love to see the SMB's attract half of those players stated in the 1st instance....

Im sure you forget sometimes the SMB's have spent a WHOPPING £25m upwards this season & STILL fuck all?

(apologies you got record breaking Craig Gordon)....

Typical mackem fan see, all he can talk about or start threads about is NUFC, check how many he's started. Not even a Sunderland fan anyway, I would say his allegiance lies with man U really which says it all!!

Shearer was the last big name player you signed in his prime, so we're pretty much in the same boat here

Granted we have signed endless shit and fucked up some unreal players i dont think any Sunderland or Boro or other North East team can deny some of the quality we have signed?

Sunderland for one are hardlys signing world beaters or have they ever signed a decent overseas international player??

As for Boro the days of Ravanelli and Juninho are long gone?

You's all slate Shearer to fuck but when he put on an England top he was the dogs bollocks to yous and there was fucking no one who could touch him....

Shearer will be remembered for taking his England top off rather than putting it on. He deserted his country and left us in the lurch at a time when the country was desparte for strikers.

We would have won the world cup in 02 if pubic scalp had pulled his ginger wick out of gabby yoraths snatch that summer
