he will be involved with coached of the reserves and youth team and gaining his professional trianing quals.. Nice to have him back
Newcastle's official website confirmed on Tuesday that former midfielder Lee Clark has returned to the club as a player - initially on a monthly deal. While registered as a player, the intention appears to be that the 32 year-old will be mostly work with our reserve side as he works towards his UEFA A coaching licence and assists second string boss Tommy Craig. It had been expected that Clark would extend his playing career with Leeds, but a move to Elland Road never materialised and instead he could face the Yorkshire club next Monday at Kingston Park, as our reserve season gets underway. Clark last played for United in May 1997 as Nottingham Forest were beaten 5-0 at SJP, replacing Tino Asprilla on 65 minutes. Also in action that day for the Magpies were Alan Shearer and Robbie Elliott.
imagine the reception he'd get if he ever gets a game in the premiership not a bad player considering his age, hope he's on the bench tomorrow so if we're safe after 80mins he can get a run out
