He's apparently discussing terms as bid has been accepted, would be a positive signing, just what we need at the back.
If we manage to get Warnock i'd be well happy with our defence goin into next season, it would all depend on how Coloccini adapts but with a back four of Warnock, Taylor, Col and Beye I think we'd be the strongest at the back that i've seen in a long time. A partnership would have to be formed by Col and taylor but from what i've seen of col already he looks a good player so fingers crossed he doesn't turn into 10million misfit once he pulls a black n white shirt on!! Warnock rubbished transfer request rumours on sky sports but ince was looking at Paul Konchesky which hopefully means a deal is under way for warnock behind the scenes.
My fingers are firmly crossed. I don't know how many potentially great players I've seen join Newcastle, only to almost ruin their careers. He does look good and I agree if we get Warnock it will be one of the strongest back fours we've had in a long time, if not the strongest, but that's not saying much when you look at our back line over the years. I just hope we can get ANYTHING out of this season. Apart from 1 or 2 mediocre signings, we've brought nothing in pre-season to a very poor side that every man and his dog knows has no depth at all. Roll on Sunday, eh

If we have a strong back four to field it'll be a start and depth can come in later. Lol like you say it doesn't take much to get better than what we've had in previous years. I have everything crossed too because me and you both know how horribly wrong it can go for big signings at st james!! Roll on Sunday
Work has sent me home because blood is pouring out of my mouth because reading your comment drove me top bite my tongue off We have a fantasy football at work and today is the final day for submittng teams, a lad i work with has put McShane in his side, that's no joke. I was in shock when i seen McShanes name and thought it was a joke but it wasn't. Anyway turns out the lad supports man u so he's got no idea anyway!!
