All i could see was LOADS of defensive errors from Dabizas - his penalty the icing on the cake for what was definitely a crap game for him... Bramble was NEARLY responsible for an Owen goal.

The difference that Bellamy and Robert made was instantaneous.. glad to see that crazy little welshman take the Liverpool defence on and begin the groundwork for the first goal - the second goal was classic Shearer .. superb delivery and an excellent header. It could have hbeen 3 if shearer's strike hadn't hit the bar.. but overall i think we deserved a draw - i couldnt have forgiven the toon if we lost purely on defnsive errors.

I think it's time that Bobby looks to the reserves for his defence - Dabizas has made an arse of himself in recent games ans its about time some of the reserve side had a chance to fill the gap.

we need a fast strong defensive player that knows wot he's doin

and a striker...why didnt we buy robbie keane i have no idea

Wish we had.. he'd have been a great addition to the team.
Our attack and midfield are stong enough now.. what we really need now are world-class defenders..

We create half our problems by ourselves.

I didn't get to watch the game otherwise I would probs have a fair few things to say too! It sounded like defensive wise we were bad apart from two players!
Good point was that we were 2-0 down with only 10mins left against a team in the top four of the prem'ship and came back for a draw!
We do have to improve like to play europes best!

Graham Poll is a marked man. He needs to read the rules. Just cos we take the ball off them doesnt mean its a free kick all the time. Bernard got booked for a good tackle! Shearer gets the shit kicked out of him and gets fuck all.
