New Phone........? Unsure what to get, here are my choices can anyone give me some sound advice? I need to be able to make calls and text as well as excellent video/photo quality, internet access would be a bonus, and an mp3 desirable Nokia N93, N73, 8800 sirocco........ I am open to other Nokia suggestions but nothing other than Nokia thanks.
I had a N70 last, was a terrible phone, everything about it was bad, battery life was worst ever. Don't know if the new N series are any better. A got a D900, the first non-nokia av had nd think its miles better, battery aint the best like.
only phones i'd ever use are SE ones, samsungs are ok but their menus and that are gash the D ones must have the shittest interface ever
I've never had anything other than a nokia, i've tested other peoples but but nothing feels right and i hate the configuration of other phones, besides i think nokia are miles ahead of the market and are massively stylish. I have the n70 at the moment and i love it, had no problems and the battery is average if not better than my previous. 3G on phones drains your battery so if thats activated all the time then that may have been the culprit. I used to really love the 8800 but other than being stylish when its closed, its pretty basic.
The Nokia n93 is a good phone, has a brilliant screen / camera. But it's easily the biggest phone i have ever seen.
sony erricson walkman phones all the way for me. i love mine, im due an upgrade next month aswell, so i'm just guna get the one up from what i have now. i think nokias were great back in the day, but the camera etc on them nowadays arent the best. they do have a good battery life though
Had a sony ericson last time but got a nokia N80, great screen and features and excellent camera and is quite compact aswell. Had no problems with it so far
The nokia's i'm looking at have carl zeiss lens, 3.2 megapixel camera with 3 x optical zoom and the video quality is as good as my video camera. So saying that they're camera's are shit is wrong......they didnt used to be the best but the camera itself has never been bad, just the video camera, but now that they have that right i think it'll be topper. As for saying the sony walkman phones are the dogs, i have to disagree. All the nokia's i have looked at have a better all round spec than the sony. BIG IS THE NEW SMALL - where mobiles are concerned!
them new nokias are massive, my phones huge (w900i) but them are even bigger, and they look tacky as fuck. my next ones gonna be the k800 or somet similar in size
dont get n80, heap of shit... power connection is loose, screeen consantly freezes, also take over 1minute to send a text message.. k800i all the way... i want one.
there's a mint new sony one out at the moment. 4gb of memorya and touch screen. looks smart. no camers though cos it's totally dedicated to music
I have no need for music on my phone so it'll be useless......i have an ipod for the car but i have no need for anything else.
