New Motor Wahey, my first car....at last! It's a 1997(P) mk3 VW Golf CL, 1.6, 130000 miles....bodywork is in mint condition, has full service history...generally very good nick all round! Cost me £1000! Quite a pickup. and how it may look after its dropped...altho maybe not quite so low Not drove it properly yet though, need to wait a few days before I can get insurance
looks like anice motor m8 130,000 miles is a canny bit though for the year, but should be ok with the FSH
beware of water pump failure as well as ignition switch failure. Very common in golf/polo models of that range of year. Other than that... nice
Aye, alot of it is proper VWSH aswell. Timing Belt was changed 10k miles ago, spark plugs changed 4k miles ago, new air filter & oil filter at the same time It's been well maintained like! Cheers for the tip Dave, I need to go see VW about getting the central locking sorted so I can mention that then!
Thats exactly what I was thinking! Freaky Nice looking car tho Chris Id love a new sexy black Golf 2ltr GTI, vroom VROOOOOM!!!
mint pics them altho the car is hidden underneith the bodykit.. nice colour .. whats colour is it exactly? EDIT> obviously not that one.. the finished version
jay jay...thats your golf in the first body kit picture..dont lie, workin at pps has turned u into a true numpty boy racer
Do I live there? No - but I live just along the road from there in Abbey Farm. Those kits are awful! But as Lulu says, there are some really nice kits. Personally I think the VW parts are the nicest especially on the mk4/mk5! Had a few teething problems with the car, suspension needs replacing, exhaust is blown and the battery is flat Will all be sorted by next week and running 35mm lower
Oh and in the mean time I have sorced some VR6 smoked rear clusters. A bargain at £30...they are £100 brand new!
And today it's been lowered, and I fitted a roof ariel last week All I need now is a new exhaust and some new wheels!! It's been lowered 35mm, looks alot lower than I was expecting, chuffed Tracking is out though...so will need to sort that tomorrow!
