    New monkey?

    What is it? Someone was telling me at work there is a genre of music called is, they said its what all the charvas listen to.

    So is it just another name for hardcore? cause the way they described it, thats the impression i got.

    oh right!! i didn't think it was a new genre, i think i will smile smuggly next time i see him, becase we had a massive arguement about it and he was sure he was right!!!

    Yeah it's just happy hardcore, they call it the New Monkey because they are that thick that they think the North East is at the forefront of the scene and that it would get named after some shit shut down nightclub in Sunderland.

    They also call it makina as they think it originated in Spain, which is dubious at best.

    It was called afterdark a few years ago, I think they just name it after whatever pikey fest is open at the time.

    it did originate in spain. came out of the gay scene in barcelona! which is hilarious cos they are all major haters of gay people.
    there was a track out a while back called straight or gay. n they all thought iy was a ig piss tale, but it was made by gay producers.

    when i used to work at the sage before i moved to leeds. i would try n get off work early on a saturday night so i could avoid the little fuckers! there used to be around 100 got on the metro at gateshead around 10.30 - 11.00. the amount of times i got asked for a fuckin tab was ridiculous.
