The DJM300 is alright, but I find it a bit basic. Nice eq though.

Behringer VMX300 is a superb mixer, especially for its price.

I did have a Vestax PCV-275 for sale, but I just sold it about 10 minutes ago.

    What's your budget m8?

Get it from Sapphs mate, they're probably the bets store in the UK.

If you speak to Eitanz (and you're nice to him), he should price match anything for you anyway.

Oh, and a free Sapphs record bag with every purchase ;)

    How long you been DJing?

You'll probbaly find the VMX-100 a bit basic if you've been doing more than a year or so.

I've used one of the Behringer budget mixers, but I'm not sure whether or not it was the VMX-100. Whatever it was, I hated it!

As I've said, the VMX-300 is the best mixer you'll get for its price range and a little bit upwards. So many features for so little cash.
Ify ou can afford it, get that!

Possibly a good choice. Cheaper option anyway.

Ah well, good luck with it!

For me, Pioneer mixers are by far the best to use! I have used Daniels DJM300 too, I would recommend it! Its really nice to use, not too expensive and has the qualities of Pioneer mixers, except effects, pan switch. :)

To be honest its not about the mixer - personally i wouldnt have a DJM600 in me bedroom or that fuck off Vestax one thats Gold either coz i aint playing out nor am i intending on and ya can even go and ask any DJ n they will more than likely tell ya its not about the mixer its what ya can do on the decks !

If for one day i became good id buy summit that im comfortable on and not "for show and looks" !

Things like effects pads and kaos pads are hardly gonna go down a treat in ya room are they and are simply for extra use when ya have mastered the art of being a DJ therefore are distractions till then !

Im more than happy now with me Gemini BPM 250 and the day that im playing out and doing tapes and cd's by the boat load maybe the day that i buy a DJM600 coz its worth it - until then the four walls, me cats, me mam n sister will have too do with what ive got

I agree, i spent money on the Korg Kaoss mixer and I hardly use the pad, the levels and sound quality are fuckin' great though!!!!!!
