I think that it's a fair bet that we will be getting a 3G 16gb iPhone in time for Xmas, the touch looks great but I want an all in one device.

Why do people go for stuff like this and a nano and pay pretty much the same price when they could get a 30GB model? I'd much rather have double the music than a slight cosmetic upgrade.

When will you ever need 30gig of music on your mp player though?

I can guarantee most people will only ever need at most 2gig of music for a bit of variety. When i had my 20gig ipod it was fulkl with music but still only listeend to about 4-5 different sets or mixes whenevre i updated it so there was plenty of stuff just on there taking up space not getting listened too.

The new ipod touch looks great, might get scratched to fuck mind but it looks really nice and at £200 for a 16 gig ipod with wireless internet a really spart interface that looks good its a great price.

Mine is full and I listen to it everyday I much prefer not having to arse about changing music before I go out. Each to their own though.

I've only ever had a 4gb one before, and it's been enough for me. It's not much effort changing the music once a week or so.

Am well tempted by one of these touch screen ones though.

The more space the better imo. Most people who download music have more than 2gb worth on their computer so I don't see why it would be different with an ipod. If I'm working 8 hours per day whilst listening to my ipod I want as much variety as possible. Shame I lost my ipod video though :(

i've got a 2gig nano - i'd say it's 80% full most of the time but in the 18months i've had it i've never needed more than that - i put new stuff on it all the time and take stuff off - too much and u can't keep track of it!!
