    New digi-label fo' yo' ass...

Southside Shuffle, part of Jonene's Stompy empire, and run by the pikey that is Pete Dafeet, is the newest addition to a revolution that is the digital record label. The SS catalogue is available at www.stompy.com for about $2.00 a track (that's about £1.15). The first seven tracks feature production skills from the likes of Sir Cosmic (Igloo Records, Chicago) and Ben Morgan (Chibuku Shake Shake). Some samples...

    Tommy Largo - Lonely Night

    Ralphski - Get With This

Ben Morgan - Child Of The 80s

    Ben Morgan - Summer Jam

Sir Cosmic - Swing Brother Swing

Matt J - Run For Cover

Pete Dafeet - Jibe Talkin' (Matt J Remix)

Some of you will recognise some of those, especially the Resistance lot, as I've been battering some of them for about 6 months...
