    Net MD

Anybody got this and explain how it exactly works? Does the mp3 download direct to MD instead of to the hard drive? Ive not got a digital out on my sound card, will this make a big difference to the quality of sound? Also, on a similar note, what about recording mixes from a DJM 600 to MD, whats the best way to do this? Cant remember if the DJM 600 has a digital out... and what about levels? are they automatic?

    Re: Net MD

I have got a sony NET MD and it works by going through the a USB. The MP3 is converted with software provided with the MD Player to go straight onto the MD via the USB..... Hope this helps!

    Re: Net MD

it doesnt matter about not having a digital out on your sound card, cos it works differently from a normal MD player. it comes with that base thing which you connect to your USB, and put the MD into. it then transfers the tunes via the base thing.....

levels dont matter when you are recording digitally, but you have to set them when using a line in.
it makes a dufference to the sound quality, but its not that much really....

    hope then helps! :)

guess would be line out of md to line in pc..then use a recording prog on your pc, set it to record line-in… let the md run, then it should save it as either an mp3 or a wav… but im guessing:)
