Nero was working fine this morning and now i've jus went to burn a data disc and ive got the following error message..... The following WIN-ASPI File "WNASPI.32.DLL" cannot be found therefore you can only select image recorders. Please fix this problem then restart nero.
Just re-install it. Is it Nero 6? are you using a dodgy reg key? if nero is set to check for updates - it also checks your reg key - it could have been disabled
Iv got the file but its still giving the same error message, what folder does it need to go in? When i try to open it and it says to select a program to open it with ive tried using nero to open it and it says i need the original windows file do i need to do this or what?
Now im getting more or less the same file but the missing Win-ASPI file is "?.?" and it says Error 11 no aspi
I remember when I installed cdrWin a while back it installs an aspi database thing. Which was fine, but I'd find if I used cdrWin then went back to Nero. It would come up with an error about the ASPI... and only allow use of the virtual recorder. Used to have to reboot to use Nero again. I dunno how to sort is like... are u using moe than one piece of burning software?!
I've always had problems with Nero and cue files too! Yet when I ask people what they use they still say nero, so I'm like wtf am i doing wrong?! Always locks up when scanning the cue files..... :spangled:
it will lock up for about 5 mins then will work but u have to leave it untill it sorts itself out. has always done this on mine too.
