    Need ur Help

    Hi there,

    After hearing that im getting laid off work soon, i read my contract (which my boss obviously didnt think about when he wrote it) to find ill still get all my holiday pay (£1500) even if im fired, i just have no weeks notice.

    so can anyone think of any good, but very suttle ways to get me fired?!

    Ive already put subliminal messages in the videos I make, mainly references to how my boss looks like an owl.

    Any ideas then?

    Alcohol! Should get same result with smaller likelihood of police being involved.

    Tino has a point about references though, and being sacked never looks good on a work record.

    Hehe im not bothered, im getting made redundant cause the conpanies goin bust anyway so there'll be no company for references. All the directors are moving back down london. Ill just say I was made redundant even if i get fired

    You can usually still ask your boss for a reference though, even if you get one in a sealed envelope when you leave .

    if it ain't coming out of his pocket, just ask him to fire you, honesty is the best policy, r you getting a redundancy package tho?

    DO what i did - get a written reference, then get fired ;)
    i didnt get fired, i walked out at a very inappropriate moment, jus as they were bout to serve a wedding breakfast - kinda fucks things when the supervisor does one :lol::lol::lol:

    with the company being only a yearish old, the max redundancy payment is 1300, and it actually works out better me leaving b4 hand (handing in notice or fired) as I would get 23 days holiday pay which totals 1400+, roughly 1480 or something.

    Sounds very strange i know but ive consulted my mate whos a 3rd year law student and he says that its rock solid.

    2 b honest i think ill just hand my notice in and tell my boss to f.off on the last day. That way i get an extra weeks pay.

    do someone at work, and broadcast the "event" over the PA system in ur building.
    the only things u can get sacked immediately for are gross misconduct and theft, otherwise u get suspended and a review etc...

    You accrue holiday pay every day you work (how much depends on you allowance). If you haven't taking your holiday when you leave (for any reason) they have to pay you it, after all you have already earned it

    even with gross missconduct they have to suspend you first.

    Exactly what i mean mate, ive got 23 days out of my 25days holiday left, thats where i get the £1400 from.

    The company can only pay out 1300 redundancy cause the company is litterally pennyless now
