NEC Last Night What more can i say really - unbelieveable ?? Unbelievable night - shame bout the fannying on with Candywax and numerous Que's for me to go in looking for "Wayahead" collection point............ When we got in im sure it was MIKE who was who sounded good - i was still at the time more taken over by the atmosphere n that and the sound ! The rest of the DJ's : Halliwell & Jules - Ok DJ Tiesto - Ok set - he aint my cuppa like Armin Van Buuren - Best of the night - tunes,mixing both spot on ! Talla - V.Good Mario Pui - Thought went bit dodgy - what was with mix into Cafe Del Marco Bond & Hardwick All i have to say to Bond / Hardwick is : Gouryella - Gouryella Apex - Virtuoso Johnny Shaker - Pear River My face, my mates faces topped the whole night off The NEC was well big like and not what i expected @ all - it wasnt as rough as the Arena for GK at all and the crowd were all well up for it and friendly Different leage of clubbing this was like On person missing from the whole night which would of topped it all off - Cassie i love ya xx
Didn't think much of it really, the lighting and sound system was stunning as was the music (especially Armin and Jules/Halliwell ) But it was a really funny crowd, as can probably be expected from big, money grabbing events like this.... .....Speaking of money grabbing bastards, Candywax are shit :evil: Hardwicks last three tunes, Pearl River, Apex and Gouryella made my night though I must say. Even though I was struggling to stay awake by this time! Halliwells scratching and trickery was also very impressive, playing around a lot with accapellas if I remember correctly (which I probably dont!) Tiesto was mediocre IMO, just seemed to plod along. Didnt see anyone out of the Tidy or Bugged Out arena, just stayed in and around the main arena all night *That is all*
Mint nite it was. Tiesto was tops, wot i heard ov armin was gud, Yoji played a blinder as did lisa lashes. Scott n Matt at the end was gud esp hearing pearl river last track. Only let down was Lab 4, was not overly impressed by them!
