    My new rust bucket.

It's rusty as fuck, and i've just discovered that it's had a minor bump earlier in its life (they must have replaced the light but the bonnet and bumper are very slightly gimped next to the front wheel), but for £175 I can't really complain. The alloys alone are worth more!

Runs fine, had a wee drive around Cramlington today.

Let's hear it for Bobby

I'd hate to think what the underneath looks like if the panels are that rusty

    Sills webba? wassat?

Excuse me, i'm not very car literate. Bumper, CD player and alloy wheels are the only words i'm really familiar with!

    'steering wheel'?

Sorry mate, sills are the bits of metal which attach the floorpan (underneath) to the sides of your car. Have a look just under the doors, on each side a metal line will stick out along the length of the car, just see how rusty they are

I'm gonna get some more soon. Might even get the XR2i's if they fit, and are available from the scrap yard :D

I'm not paying for any new bumpers, they'd be worth more than i bought the car for but you can get bumpers and stuff for £20. It's had a light bump at the front right too, affecting the bumper and bit to the right of the bonnet. bonnet is intact.

    Sounds like gear box mountings.
