    Music on the net...

    whats the best format to put music on the net for people to download?

    i can get it down to about 30Mb in windows media player thingy, jus wondered if there was another way?

    an how long would it take to download 30mb?

    .rm (real media) u cud set up a stream.. or download.. its normally smaller than mp3... all depends with all sound formats which quality setting u use...

    30meg...
    1hr30mins on 56k id say...

    .WMA windows media is smaller than MP3, but it means you're tied into Microsoft again. MP3 is more popular. As to which is best... your guess is as good as mine. You can normally download 10meg and hour on a dial up service. Less for uploading.

    any1 any ideas how long i would take on broadband?


    think i'm jus gonna burn loads of cds an send em out now tho...:(

    ah well, still mite try an see how it goes...
