    Music Files

How the hell do you change them back to Windows Media Player? I installed the ipod programme and then everything turned to Itunes which really pisses me off...anyone know what to do?

    Thanks x

Open my computer, go to Tools > Folder Options. Then the next box select 'File Types'... scroll down to MP3 and click 'change'

EDIT : You might also have to do .WMA, .WAV....

You can select a default program to play music files. Installing IPOD will have overwritten it from windows media player. I think you can change it back somewhere in the control panel

In Windows Media Player, Tools > Options > File Types > Choose what files you want to be associated with WMP :) Oh, then click OK!

right click on the file you wanna play, select 'open with' then click 'choose program' at the bottom of the list, then once the new box appears click on the widows media player idon and tick the 'always use the selected program to open this kind of file' then click 'ok'

Also KT, next time you install something, the install wizard will ask you which files you want to associate with that program, look through the list of file types and click the ones you want it to handle and the ones you don't leave.

Don't just click, next, next, next, next, install.
