music down load sites whats the best sites to down load from.... am after a live set by green day...thats if i can infiltrate my dads firewalls
It won't have what you're after but I always use http://www.mp3search.ru It involves paying - songs are a whopping 10 cents each but you can play the full song as many times as you want before you pay to download it.
Is that coz you'll have to pay????????? It's that kind of cheapskate, attitude that's going to kill the industry, If you want to own music, you should pay for it, how else will the people making it be able to make more music for you to steal?????
excuse me mr high & mighty hairy...if i wanted your oppinion i'd ask you for it! i said bugger cos well it is more of a bugger to pay if something is up fro grabs free....are you telling me that you'd past a shop offering you free whatever in favour of going next door where you got to pay!
I thought that a file sharing programme would be the best option for her because she's after a live set which probably wasnt released, thats not really damaging the industry at all because it was probably a rip from a radio broadcast or something, u can't say you've never downloaded a live set mate. By the way - Do u know if Air records is open on a Sunday?
What i've found myself doing (with the exception of really old tunes that i havent got) is downloading stuff as as a kind of try before you buy then if i like it, buying the original.. out of respect for the artist i guess
to be fair...its the music industry thats killed itself by chargin stupid prices for music in the first place and being stupidly slow in getting round to sorting out releasing mp3's.
i agree with pretty much everything u say there, but my point is the music industry only has itself to blame for illegal downloading as its been going on for years and only now is it finally getting around to doing something about it. Still though we pay more in this country on i-tunes for singles and albums than other countries yet we get the same product...where's the fairness in that? i download as much as i buy and theres been many times ive downloaded stuff then gone out and bought full albums etc.. but as you say theres are pro's and con's to the whole argument, as im sure there are many people who dont.
At last someone with a bit of sense. That's exactly what I was trying to get over to people in a thread a couple of weeks ago. Problem is there's too many monkeys in this world who want something for nothing.
but what about those who arnt monkeys who are just massive music lovers and cant get hold of the music they wanna listen to cos the usual places just stock shite?
what i suppose im trying to say is if you support artists by buying thier music then is it so bad to download stuff by them that you cant get hold of? cheers for the website addy too...looks pretty cool... ...for all the goodness of mp3's aswell nothing beats walking outta a shop with a big bag of nice new CD's
