Documentary on ITV now with James Bulgers mother, cant believe this was 15 years ago now! Still sends shivers through me when there running through events with the Police & witnesses.

They were both released in June 2001, after serving eight years. An injunction was imposed after the trial preventing the publication of details about the boys, for fear of reprisals. The injunction remained in force following their release, so their new identities and locations could not be published.

Just watched it, fucking disgusting. The case must've been horrific how they still dont talk about what happened on the tracks. Also, they brought up another point that everyone seems to bypass, the fact they'd tried to take another kid earlier in the day from the same shopping centre. Tragic story

I honestly didn't! I was also just a nipper also at the time they got sentenced & as it's been out the public eye for a few years now i really didn't know until i watched this tonight. Cant believe there out.

A lot of people would like to see the likes of the Bulger killers and the three accused of the murder of Baby P to experience a bit of vigilante mob justice, its what the British public would demand anyway, especially if The Sun and one of their campaigns got involved.

Yet when this happens in Johannesburg and (insert any city in South America, Africa, South Asia) they get called "fucking savages" and "backwards"

I read a book about this some years ago which went into quite a bit of detail. What they did to him was fucking unreal. The bastards should be stoned to death.

Killing them is the only way of ridding problems like these, kids/adults who Kill or Rape (for example) in such a manner have a disease, it's not a problem & they'll always have that train of thought & have the capability in them to do it again.

Watching the programme last night when they were questioned they admitted the original plot was to throw a baby infront of a Bus or Taxi outside the shopping mall to make it look like an accident that went wrong, what fukin 10 year old thiks like that?

they knew what they were doing was wrong aswell the little bastards, they lied to all those people who asked if James was OK, 10 years old and they done this - its awful!

Anyway, its great to see that ITV have decided to cash in on peoples emotions and screen a Jamie Bulger programme just after the Peter Connolly case got out. A year ago no one would have give a shit, perhaps so in 2002 post Soham murders.

A brotherly fight over a computer game is one thing, 2 lads at the age of 10 who set out to kill a toddler, failing once then suceeding in a 2nd attempt is something many many moons away from what your trying to compare, however if you set out with the intention to slain your brother then yes, id go as far as to say that you also have problems...

Like I said, folk like these have a disease, it's uncurable & they will always think in this frame of mind & have the cabailities to carry out such atrocities, so yes the only way to prevent it from happening again (which it seems to do so in the majority of cases) would be to excute them. Would stop people like: Glitter, Bulger murderes, mary bell, huntley etc... ever having the oppertunity.

These 2 boys are out now having served 8 years with new identities & can live the rest of thier lives whilst still being in the prime of thier youth, justify that?

It was hardly 'cashing in' mate, the whole documentary was forefronted by Jaimie Bulgers mother who's campained for over 10 years to get justice for her son. I doubt anyone involved was out to make a quick buck.

A man thought to be a child sex offender was found hacked to death in his caravan in south London.

The victim was 52-year-old Andrew Cunningham, according to the Sun. He died after suffering multiple stab wounds to the head, neck and chest.

Mr Cunningham was set upon by a baying mob who left him naked and covered in blood in his caravan, which was found at business premises in Wandsworth, the paper reported. Police removed the caravan for forensic testing.
