Mumps!

Mumps!

I have been feeling like crap since Wed been off work and woke up this morning with a really swollen neck!

Thought it may be tonsillitis (bad enough) but the doctor informs me its Mumps!


I look awful! (well worse then normal)

Got a week off work though!

Nice to see your more concerned about the time off work than your health

my mate had mumps the other wk just make sure to get loadsa rest seems to be a fair outbreak of them lately actually

I know a few peple who have had ot of late

We got advised to get an injection agains them at Uni cos theres a wide spread

I cant eat which is a bummer but I dont seem to habe an appertite but I need to eat to take my tablets! So i have to force food down my neck!

Its defintely going around so if you aint been vacancated I sugest ppl do so esp lads as it can be very dangerous for them!

aye am sure it can knock u sterile if u get a bad case

yeah it can its very rare though! It can lead to meningitus (sp??) too!
