    Re: msn on works pcs

I really detest ppl who use this at work..
The secretary at mine does and she fucking ignores you all the time..

Not only that but she uses Yahoo! Messenger too and plays pool "tourneys" online. Oh and watches dvds.. and downloads music..

It annoys the fuck outta me... so I fired up the firewall and banned her from using any of the above software..

Then she complained to the boss that because i'd done that it was effecting the way sage ran on the system :wtf:

So I had to undo all the restrictions..

    The bitch.....

Oh in answer to your question.. probably through a proxy.. not sure how to set it up though..

Theres a handy tool called App Killer that you may find useful Chandler!

How did you block it Cole? Cos if all else fails with MSN, doesn't it just use port 80?

No i blocked the .exe file so it wont even run on the PC's, Anyway most of the 1500 staff do not have admin rights so they cant even install it

MSN comes part of XP - there is a fudge where u can get it to appear in the 'Add/Remove programs' list then u can un-install it - thats what we do in our student labs.

    that'll teach the fuckers
