I am thinking of getting a new MP3 player, I have heard the 20g i-rivers are good.

What about the sony walkman 20g, can get one £149??

apparently the battery on the sony ones kick arse over anything else on the market, but not sure what the features and that are like. Think the irivers are beest for features.

I am not really bothered about features. The i-rivers look good but are a bit pricey!

I hated my iriver. Shit sound, shit menu layout and being able to drag and drop doesn't really make up for it.

Just got an 8GB Sony NW-A1200 and I absolutely love it, superb sound, battery lasts fucking ages, bookmarks, gapless playback and it looks amazing.

I was avoiding the Sony's because I heard the connect software was that bad and causing them massive problems, but I got sonic stage with mine and it's fine to use, problems resolved.

Before I realised, I was looking at the Iriver H10's and Creative Zen Microphoto's. However, between them gapless playback isn't possible, they didn't have bookmarks, one of them didn't have socket charger and I read loads of reports about them being generally good but crashing a lot and having to be formatted e.t.c

    Get the Sony.

It was between the silver and black for me - I thought the purple looked shit.

I chose the silver, let me know what you think of it.
