what kind of car is it

i bought mine off the internet
it should have cost £400 in the local car audio dealers
i got it for £256 from
    imo ALPINE are the best

    http://www.sceniccaraudio.co.uk/

depending on the car you can buy an adaptor cable so the unit just pushes into the existing slot and then just plugs in with none or very little wiring

pm me and ill see if i can help you out
ive fitted loads of expensive audio systems in the past

yeah but ive got over 1 grands worth of alpine double din headunit  so im reluctant to get rid

there not available anywhere except japans domestic market, last one i saw for sale was on the american ebay a while back and was going for about £600 ish (from memory and second hand)

its posible to connect another 50 disc changer to it (its a 3 disc changer headunit as standerd with tape and radio)

so it might be possible to connect a mp3 disc unit, but i havnet looked into it

Not at all. Just a throwaway comment.
I just can't believe how much Van the man paid for his Home Cinema package and it plays absolutely fuck all. Well, only DVD originals. And Kwik Save sold one for £35 that would play a beermat if you tried (mebbes not!)

i acted as 'adviser' for my parents when gettin there system (and fuck me it IS good.. ) but, i told em to get a kick ass motherfucker of a sony dvd player... and as you say... it plays fuck all... what it does play - it plays very, very well... but annoying that something 4 times cheaper plays fuckin everythin... :p

needless to say the rents werent greatly amused... but hey :p
