MP3 Player problem

MP3 Player problem

Again a problem with the new laptop. When I plug my Mp3 player in to the USB, it comes up as an MTP device with nothing showing in the folders. On my old PC it showed up as a mass storage device.

Any clues?

what O/S on the laptop?

Its Windows XP SP2 and that does seem to be the problem.

Is there any way of changing it back so it recognises it as a mass storage device, rather than a MTP device?

You probaly need to install software for it!

I installed the software that came with the player, but it doesnt make any difference
