    where can i get one of these bad boys for free?
    or are there any reccomended ones about?

    just get audiograbber and then download LAME mp3 encoder.

    make sure u encode ur mp3's at 192k and STEREO...not joint stereo or owt like that

    do u know any decent recording programs which are free bud?
    i had soundforge on my old comp but it fucked up.
    im using audiacity or something now and its nowt like soundforge and its just confusing me to fuck cause ive never had this hassel making cd's before

    audacity is FREE as in NOT STOLEN YOU PIKEY GYPOS and yet, has most of the features you'll ever need. for free.

    aye but need to convert what im recording into mp3. and ive looked thru audacity and it doesnt do that. and most of the programs ive downloaded to day cant encode the stuff im recording on audacity. thats why im having this problem

    Get yourself Exact Audio Copy (EAC), and use LAME for the encoding - nothing else will do :D
