aye you av to convert em 1st mate. SOME dvd players avail can read and decode avi on the fly.....not many tho... so.... just search on google or wotever for avi2mpeg, converting avi to mpg etc.... loads about.. however...if you aint got a quick pc it takes quite a while!
no probs. Just incase it crops up again, here's the best MPEG encoder i've found : http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_download.html there's also a little guide on how to rip DVD's onto VCD. Most of it u don't need and it's a little out of date, but it points u in the right direction on encoding... http://www.dvdrhelp.com/sefy/?id=classicalguide.html
champion. it works.. for the most part... some bits are wrong... but u can kinda work it out for yourself. it's also the most reliable way, otherwise i've had problems with sound being in and out of sync and frame flicker. :chill:
one thing that is battering my head.. how to export movie files from aftereffects with a transparent background... :spangled:
