    Mountian Bike service

    Does anyone do such a thing as a mountain bike service?

    I need a bike looking over and brake fluid, suspention gas toppped up etc

    Its blatently knicked is that a hinderance? :lol:

    Won't be it be tagged in some way so if you take it to a shop they just scan it and it will show up as nicked?

    they have numbers printed on the frame but would a shop run a stolen check? i cant see any reason why they would

    I'm not sure really, maybe it's store policy to do so and there's a stolen database they run it through, not exactly hard or time consuming to do and maybe a pig requirement considering there was a lot of bike crime at one point.

    There is loads of scruffy fucking thieves on this board surely. Speak up guys..

    try the bike shop at the bottom of concord front street, hes as dodgy as they come! and cheap! Houghton cycles i think its called.

    im bang into riding and i dont take my bike anywhere else apart from edinbrough cycles on the top of byker high street its the best place to go and you pay for what you get, if you have a good bike take it there

    they do a thing for 85quid where they take your whole bike apart, clean every inch of it and do a service on it and put it back 2gether, i would do that with mine but i prefer to do everything myself as i hate cleaning my bike

    got the great north ride coming up and planning on doing the coast to coast
