Morgages????

We're getting our first morgage and have found a house too.

But where do i start?

i dont understand any of it!!!

Have u viewed the house and put an offer in for it yet ???

Once u have done the above and the offer has been accepted then you need to find a money lender willing to give you the mortgage for the amount you need , im in the middle ( well near completion ) of buying a house , and as the amount needed was 4x our combined joint yearly income we had to put a 5% deposit down !!!

I wouldn't trust people off here to give me advice on financial matters

don't you need to find out whether you can get a mortgage that will cover the cost of the house you want first.

Just do the same.. all u do is sort electricals out.

Or u could get pissed, have a laarf, get a new job, run a rapist over, never have to hassle yourself driving again, blow up a family of rapists and get a new hairstyle.

Well thats what i thought, surely i need to know about my mortgage before i start looking for a house as i need to know what house i can afford....

We may have to look at Self Cert mortgages as well, anyone know anything about these?

Yes , u normally need at least 10% deposit , i nearly had to do that but pulled a few strings n got it down to 5%

I never rate myself when it comes to doing things that can kill people. If i'm pissed i'm up for it but you'd never catch me doing it sober.

5% is acceptable, 10% would be a bit much though i think.
