Modem Drivers my mate put xp onto my other computer, and the modem dont work now cos tehres no driver, so im trying to download the driver on this computer and put it on the otehr. ive opened the computer, taken the modem out and have a look what was written on it: Model: I303 so i did a seach and its come up with a few, but nothing for xp...only 98, ME, and 2000 do u think the 2000 driver will work?
the 2000 one did work. but i cant install broadband cos i dont have enuf ram or summit on it so im gonna stick with this computer for the 3 months we got broadband for £10 a month, then we can go back to dial up with that computer. problem is, there isnt enuf room to have thm both set up, (according to mum) but that one wont connct to the intenet and this one wont install ne scanners, printers or cameras. GRR!!!
the cd that i haev to use to instalkl broadband says its not enuf but the booklet says it is, so im gonna fone NTL and ask them if theres anotehr way to install it without the cd notehr question...do i haev to have a usb port on the modem to use the USB cable in the broadband box? or shud it work jsut plugging it into the one next to the keybaord one?
