Mobile Phone unlocking (again)

    Mobile Phone unlocking (again)

    Can anyone actually do this? Iv got all the cables and s/w but cant do it!

    I think you have to "flash" the phone like when u update BIOS on a PC, but I cant get software that is compatible with my 8210.

    Some instructions tell you to "Turn the phone on" then press such and such...... the thing is the cable plugs into a slot BEHIND the battery so u cant "Turn it on" with the battery out!

    u sure u got right cable mate??

    the cable shud fit into the fone and then the battery sits nicely on top (sticks out on a slant) .......

    what software version is the fone?

    stick a simcard in it, switch on and do *#0000#

    shud tell u software version.....

    like Bri sez, you gotta shove that thing where the battery was, then the battery fits over it, still connected, but not in the slot... this would be easier with pictures...

    Can you do 8310's too, the one I got off Diamond Phil is still dodgy

    still cant get owt to work tho....no software is out yet for v5 31 yet :mad:
